Right now everywhere I look, I see Red Jeans (and Turquoise and Purple and Yellow…)!

As a Traditionalist when it comes to denim, I usually stick to my dark-washed jeans. I have two pairs. Clearly I am not much of a Jeans person (not sure why that is, I just happen to wear a variety of skirts and dresses). However, I am starting to fall for the colored jeans look!

The softness of the mint paired with the starkness of the pink remind me of the changing seasons and how busy my life seems to get in the summer! The mint has a calming effect while the fuschia seems invigorate. Best of both worlds, story of my life as it seems…

I simply adore the combination of these shades paired together!

Here is how I would wear them…

My Fabulous Sister and I are headed off to an Afternoon Cinco de Mayo party near the beach. The Invitation asks us to “Dress Festively in Bright Colors”. We are in the process of trying to figure out exactly how to do that… in 55 degree weather! (Pictures will follow)

Uhm… What was I thinking?? I basically went from Summer (80s-90s+) to late Winter (45-55 degrees) in only 24 hours.

About five minutes after I got off the airplane, my Sister (who lives here) asked me where my coat was and I replied: “Uhm, I don’t own a coat.” This is what happens when you live in South Georgia and the Panhandle of Florida for numerous years. Cold Weather? What is that??

Thankfully, Seattle has some Ah-Mazing Thrift Stores and Awesome Street Style for Inspiration!

Josie (who just turned Four yesterday) knows how to operate my camera, the camera on my Android and the camera on Nana’s iphone! When I was her age, I was drawing on the walls with crayons and that was about it! Remarkable!

Things have been a little crazy hectic over the past month, but I am FINALLY here! It only took twenty hours of travel yesterday (and 4 flights) to get here… and I was zonked! It was raining when I arrived at the Airport and I have never been happier to step out into a drizzle. It was the City’s way of welcoming me back

I am thrilled to be back and also join the ranks of the Fabulous Seattle Bloggers/Writers.

Here I go… off into the city…off to find adventures and take pictures (and drink Coffee!).
